Notes
Source: Statistics Canada
Release: Crude Oil and Natural Gas Production
Units: Thousand cubic metres, Closing inventory in storage, Canada, end of month
Frequency: Monthly
Notes: Natural gas held in storage in Canada at month end, in thousand cubic metres, from Statistics Canada. Storage fills through the summer injection season and drains in winter; the end-of-October level is the market's main gauge of winter readiness. Canada has no weekly storage report like the US EIA's, so this monthly series is the closest equivalent. History from January 2016. Published monthly, about three months behind the reference month.
